Encore Collectibles was founded in 1991 – in Dallas, Texas. The founder was formerly an A&R representative with several record companies. His involvement within the music industry enabled him to build numerous friendships and contacts with major recording artists and record executives. Thus, making it possible to offer collectors and the general public the most valuable Gold & Platinum Record Awards, and Motion Picture awards available in the industry.
